About Sam
I’m Sam, the person behind SitesBySam. I’m a finance and entrepreneurship major working on websites because I noticed how many local businesses have outdated, confusing, or no online presence.
When that happens, businesses can miss out on revenue, clients, and real opportunities. My goal is to fix that problem by building clean, affordable websites that help business owners look professional and get contacted.
I graduated from Mineral Area College and I’m attending SIUE, which gives me local ties from the Farmington/Mineral Area to Festus, St. Louis, Edwardsville, and beyond.
Why I build
A lot of local businesses do great work, but their website does not show it. Some sites are outdated, hard to use, confusing on phones, or missing important information. Some businesses have no website at all.
I know I can help fix that. A clean website can make a business easier to trust, easier to find, and easier to contact. My goal is to build websites that actually help small businesses get more leads and look more professional online.
A little more about me
I’m not trying to make this feel like a big agency. When you work with me, you’re working directly with Sam. Outside of building websites and working on business ideas, I’m usually running, spending time with the people closest to me, or hanging out with my dogs.
Running has taught me discipline, consistency, and attention to detail. Those are the same things I try to bring into every website I build — showing up, doing the small things right, and making sure the final result is something I’m proud to put my name on.
I’m big on staying close with the people who matter most to me. Whether I’m with my girlfriend, hanging out with friends, or spending time with family, I try to keep life balanced and remember why I’m building this in the first place.
My dogs are a big part of my life too. They may not know anything about websites, but they’re definitely around while I’m working on them. So technically, every SitesBySam project gets at least a little dog supervision.
How I work
I work on one main project at a time, which means once your website is started, your business gets my full attention. I take the time to understand what you offer, what kind of customers you want, and how your site should feel. Then I build a clean, custom-coded website designed around your brand, your goals, and the way real customers contact you.
